Time to Write

It’s time to write again folks. It’s always the same cycle every year, I don’t know why. Let’s just call July the month of maximum Writing willingness.

I recently started to utilize AI a lot in my day to day writing, usually for work emails. At home, I don’t feel the need to write in AI. Because I am poor, and it’s fine if my writing sucks anyways.

What has happen Since last year? A lot of course. Many things happened in my country. There is riot in August, there is flooding many parts of my country in November. The flooding ultimately causes my 2025 New Year’s Eve to suck becuase of Fireworks ban.

Also this year there are some bad events. Starting with war in Iran which causes rising fuel prices. MBG corruption, Coal corruption, introduction of state export control and other stuff. My overall outlook on life is still bleak in my Country.

However, there are some interesting stuff that happened in my life.

My Gaming Life

After many years of leaving it in my Steam Library. I finally started playing Elden ring. Of course, as a lazy person I uses guide to play it. I still find it very enjoyable to play even with guide. Currently I am stuck at the Haligtree final moments before a Hidden boss fight.

I also started playing Mobile Legends more seriously and reached Mythic Rank. Along with that, I no longer play DotA 2.

Other Updates

As a backup plan, I went ahead and acquire skills unrelated to programming. I learned how to do basic leather crafting, and created my own Leather Notebook case.

I also bought a folding bicycle, because of the rising fuel prices. At one point, I really feared that I can’t buy gasoline anymore. So I figured I need other form of transportation. By owning a bicycle, I really appreciate it now. Turns out bicycle is actually a very high-tech product, coming from high-tech industry comparable to motorcycles.

Along with that, I also learned how to maintain a bicycle. I haven’t actually do bicycle maintenance by myself because I don’t have a garage yet. I hope I don’t forget it, even though I’m quite sure I can relearn it once I need it again (after having a garage).

State of the Art of Nothing

I recently bought a state-of-the-art printer capable of print, scan, and copy. Printer nowadays are really cool because they no longer forces us to buy catridges for inks. Now, they come with ink tanks which means we can just inject any kind of ink. However, they still have some other ways to make us buy product from them.

First, their ink injection mechanism is maybe proprietary, so it will works best if we buy their bottled ink. Otherwise, it may get messy when injecting the ink.

Second, they still have head catridges, but the ink now flows from tank to the catridge. Exactly like how people used to modify their catridge to have ink flows into it.

Lastly, there is still a maintenance catridge that might need to be replaced once it is full. The maintenance catridge is used when we do print-head cleaning. Pro-tip: Do print-head cleaning by printing colorful page instead.

All-in-all, I think they’re still very “generous” to not force us to buy their catridge all the time. But I’ll still buy their original ink because it’s just very high quality and value for money. I can only hope they don’t raise their prices for ink with reasons such as Iran war.

I also realized something. Many things in my life are now state-of-the-art. My new printer is state-of-the-art. Why have I not print many things? Hugo is the state-of-the-art for writing blog. Why didn’t I write anything in my blog? AI is capable of doing anything. Why have I not done anything?

I’ll leave the current article there for now, because I’m already very sleepy. I wrote this 3 AM in the morning. So long, see you in the next article!
